The Longest Trailer in 1:50 Scale
The Nooteboom Super Wing Carrier is specially designed to transport modern wind turbine blades. The real trailer is capable of carrying blades up to 70 metres long safely and efficiently by road.
Our highly detailed 1:50 scale model is finished in RAL 7015 Slate Grey, a colour commonly seen on trailers operated by companies such as Van der Vlist. The trailer can be extended up to four times, reaching an impressive 124 cm in length, making it the longest trailer ever produced in 1:50 scale.
The model includes support frames and guide rails to securely position the wind blade during transport.
The Longest Load in 1:50 Scale
Measuring an impressive 118 cm in 1:50 scale, this is one of the longest loads ever produced for a scale model.
The blade is supplied with realistic storage frames, allowing it to be displayed either:
• loaded on the Super Wing Carrier, or
• as a blade in temporary storage at a wind farm or construction site.
Together, the Super Wing Carrier and 59m Wind Turbine Blade create one of the most spectacular heavy haulage combinations available in 1:50 scale.
